Aerial Services' FBO
As Aerial Services’ subsidiary, Cedar Valley Aviation (CVA) maintains the aircraft with a team of skilled mechanics, oversees airport operations, and provides services to general aviation and the community. When Aerial Services aircraft are on the ground they reside at the Waverly Municipal Airport under the supervision of Cedar Valley Aviation’s fixed based operation (FBO).
Waverly Municipal Airport
Cedar Valley Aviation serves as the FBO at Waverly Municipal Airport in Waverly, Iowa. They provide general aviation with an array of services including aircraft fuel and airframe/powerplant repair. In addition, CVA hosts events for aviators and the community, such as the Lion’s Club annual “fly-in” breakfast every summer. Past “fly-ins” have included exhibitions of the Covenant AirCare and National Guard helicopters along with the ability for attendees to go for an airplane ride or do a tandem sky dive.
Learn To Fly
Cedar Valley Aviation also arranges pilot training and plane rental. Pilots in training receive instruction from freelance instructors in accordance with FAA rules and regulations. In-flight training time is maximized because the smaller facility at Waverly limits taxi times and gets students in the air. Plus, training and rental fees are reasonable with introductory flights starting at only $59.95.
