CVA’s Airport Manager summed up the event and thanks all those who participated this way:
“Cedar Valley Aviation and Waverly Municipal Airport once again hosted a successful Heritage Days event this past Sunday.
The event went very smoothly. Over 900 breakfasts were served by the Lion’s Club. There were 75 airplane rides given and 19 helicopter rides. Covenant Air Care provided a static display of their helicopter and several pilots brought their aircraft to C25 for the event. Paradise Skydivers also provided tandem skydiving for several people.
I would like to express my sincerest thanks to the CVA staff, the Airport Commission members Dennis Hansen and Nick Williams, and the wonderful CVA tenants and customers who stepped up to the plate to assist. Also thanks to Wartburg College and John Wuertz for their assistance.
Without the help of these people the event would have been nothing short of impossible.
Thank you again to all who worked so hard.”

When Aerial Services aircraft are on the ground they reside at the Waverly Municipal Airport under the supervision of Cedar Valley Aviation’s fixed based operation (FBO).
