Each quarter Aerial Services’ employees evaluate their peers and nominate those who produce superior results. The activity is intended to identify those individuals, reward them, and share their stories. All this is ultimately done so Aerial Services continues to excel at our business and bring value to our clients.

Charlene Curtis, Aerial Services’ Scanning/Mapping Technician, was awarded this quarter’s “Above & Beyond” award on April 7, 2010. The award was made for her “Hard Work, Dedication, Taking On New Roles, & Eagerness To Learn.” Charlene has been an asset to Aerial Services ever since she joined the team in 2008. As one colleague noted, “She has so much dedication for only being here a few years and her ability to learn new things amazes me to say the least!”

Charlene is an important part of the scanning and mapping department. She manages most of the activity around scanning of film aerial imagery, has become an expert in mapping and has been key in the roll out of new technologies, works with production on project tasks from editing to quality control, assists with client and vendor contact when needed, and is an important part of many other project tasks. “She has been here just over 2 years and has already become an expert on many things at Aerial Services. She is willing and more than able to take on anything we give her,” stated Jake Drennan, who is her supervisor.

Mike Tully, the company’s President & CEO, noted, “Charlene is the type of employee that makes a hard-working Midwestern company like ours great. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty, take on new challenges, and produce outstanding results. Her initiative and willingness to go the extra mile are traits Aerial Services aims to embody.”

We ask you to join Aerial Services in congratulating Charlene Curtis on her much-deserved “Above & Beyond” award. Thank you Charlene!
