Aerial Services Awarded Five-Year USDA PINE Aerial Imagery Blanket Purchase Agreement

(Cedar Falls, IA November 2021) – Aerial Services, Inc. (ASI) was recently selected to provide nationwide aerial imagery and processing of high-resolution orthoimagery for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) PINE Aerial Imagery contract. Under the blanket purchase agreement (BPA), ASI will compete to provide high-resolution, vertical imagery to support various Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) geographic information system (GIS) programs, including but not limited to resource management, conservation programs, crop compliance, and disaster response.

The USDA PINE BPA contract, awarded in the fourth quarter of 2021 under the General Services Administration’s (GSA) Multiple Award contract vehicle, covers a five-year ordering period. Special projects covered under the BPA include National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP), National Resources Inventory (NRI), Stewardship Lands (SL), Ad-Hoc and Disaster programs, and other resource projects.

“We are extremely excited to continue our long-time partnership with the USDA and to have this opportunity to play a role in providing comprehensive imagery acquisition needs of Farm Production and Conservation across the nation,” said Mike Tully, owner of ASI. “Based on our past experience and success working with the USDA and other federal agencies, ASI is uniquely positioned to support the USDA’s efforts to achieve its goals over the next five years and beyond.”
